298. Today I am grateful for late night talks with roommates

Something I have enjoyed with most of the roommates I have had is late night chats. During these conversations I feel that I have come to know these girls at a deeper level which helps to strengthen relationships. I am also grateful for former roommates who I continue to be friends with.

296. Today I am grateful for the Primary Program

I am grateful for the primary program of the church and the opportunity that I had to attend. It is in Primary where we learn some of the most important things, such as: We are all children of God and he loves each one of us, the scriptures are the word of God, Jesus taught people to love one another, Jesus died for us so that we can live with him again, Families are forever, etc.

292. Today I am grateful for books

I am grateful for good books and the opportunity I have to read them. Right now I am reading President Gordon B. Hinckley’s “Standing for Something”, which is a great book to evaluate our lives and what we can do personally to make positive changes in our life, families and communities. My favourites growing up were the “Ann of Green Gable” and “Little House on the Prairie” series, which I brought out to Edmonton with me. I also love the “Work and the Glory Series”. I would love to read all these series again.
